CANDY LIPS & A BUBBLE GUM TOUNGE by shirljess

CANDY LIPS & A BUBBLE GUM TOUNGE

97 / 365
PLEASE VIEW LARGE TO SEE REFLECTION IN BUBBLE. Selfie #3
This shot was inspired by the song "Your Body Is A wonderland" by John Mayer. Jennifer Love Hewitt his short term girlfriend was said to be the inspiration for this song. The bonus is I had no idea I was getting the reflection of my whole bedroom in the bubble. Score!

We got the afternoon
You got this room for two
One thing I've left to do
Discover me, discoverin' you, oh

One mile to every inch of
Your skin like porcelain
One pair of candy lips and
Your bubblegum tongue, uh uh uh

And if you want love
We'll make it
Swim in a deep sea
(Of blankets)
Take all your big plans
(And break 'em)
This is bound to be a while

Your body is a wonderland
Your body is a wonder, I'll use my hands
Your body is a wonderland

Something 'bout the way
The hair falls in your face
I love the shape you take
When crawlin' towards the pillowcase

You tell me where to go and
Though I might leave to find it
I'll never let your head hit the bed
Without my hand behind it

You want love? We'll make it
Swim in a deep sea of blankets
Take all your big plans and break 'em
This is bound to be a while

Your body is a wonderland
Your body is a wonder, I'll use my hands
Your body is a wonderland

Damn baby, you frustrate me
I know you're mine, all mine, all mine
But you look so good, it hurts sometimes

Your body is a wonderland
Your body is a wonder, I'll use my hands
Your body is a wonderland
Your body is a wonderland, oh no

This is stunning. Incredible capture. Your efforts paid off. The thing about photography I've learned is this....there are days when you try and try and try for something magical, and end up frustrated, annoyed, wanting to throw the camera out the window, with nothing to show for all your efforts. Then there are days when you don't feel like taking a single shot, and the one snap you take comes out amazing. What I'm trying to get at...I think...is that sometimes a great shot just comes along. There is no reason, just the right moment at the right time. Just enjoy it. Fav.
