Fungi

When I first saw this in the thyme, I wondered how orange peels came to be there, but they are fungi or some sort.
Now there's a fungi I have never seen before. Great capture

@olivetreeann I think you are right. I’m going to have to start paying attention to where it is coming from. I have lived in the region most of my life and I have seen 3 types of fungi in the last month that I don’t ever remember seeing here....or it could be 365 photo everyday has made me way more observant.

Interesting fungi but it is the beautiful soft side light that has me impressed. I like how the shadows give depth to the shot, and how translucent the fungi appear in that light.
