flower power by shutterbugger

flower power

...for lack of a better title.
Didn't get my camera out today. Busy Busy.
As we speak, I've got a roast in the oven. I hate cooking, I'm just not good at it! I don't like take out either. I think that if I could live on tea and cookies, I would :)

Tomorrow is the day I'm going to try photoshop. My first project? Making a watermark. I'm pretty sure shutterbugger isn't an original idea, which I found out after I had signed up here. I googled it and there is someone on flickr (?) with the same name. How can I find out if it's been taken as a real trademark? Anyone know?
Wow - awesome detail!

Oh I feel you on the tea and cookies (especially the cookies!! - Lord save my soul when I'm retired and loose all the will to exercise!). As for trademarking, I think you'd have to do a search for the name "shutterbugger" on/from a trademark organisation's website e.g. tradmarkdirect.co.uk. There's a lot more information on such websites :)

Love this shot - fav!!

Great composition and contrasts

@adeakinyede Thanks again Ade! I looked and it was easy on the US side (shutterbuggers was taken) but I'm not finding it so easy to find a Canadian site. I'm having a creative block right now. Do I use shutterbugger? It's more interesting (to me anyway) than Jenn Langworth Photography. Plain name = boring watermark. I thought about JayElle...but that's not grabbing me either.

@adeakinyede It's turning 12 noon here in a few, and I haven't even opened the frikken program!! dammit
January 16th, 2012
@shutterbugger - I went through the same thing as well :) although I'm assuming you've been using shutterbugger for a while so you wouldn't want to let go of it. Took me a couple days to come up with a name that settled with me.

Right, get on that photoshop workshop ;). Remember to get up and stretch those legs after a couple of hours!!

beautiful.

Lovely...like the coolness. JayElle kinda sounds like a clothing line with stretchy pants. Can't you continue to use it even if someone else does too by a slight tweak like 'shutterbugger blah photography' (replace blah with something better) or s.b. something else?

THAT is GORGEOUS! wow! lovely coloring and focus

Gorgeous shadows and cooler tones.

You could always just alter the bugger part to something like Shutterbusker, Shutterbungler, Shuttersnap, Shutterburglar. Okay, forget the burglar one! :P
