Went to the Exposure Show today! All things camera! Got LOTS of goodies to read from all the booths. Sean and I were really glad we decided to go.
Went halves on a 3 yr subscription to a Canadian photo mag and got free stuff with it AND went halves on Lightroom 4!! Did you know that they've brought the price way down? Just found that out today. $135 tax in is WAY better than $299+! This is my first edit with the new program. Can't see much difference yet, but I haven't really had a good play.
This guy...he's Ed from the Barenaked Ladies. He did a presentation on how he took the Henry's (camera store) coarse and learned how to get off auto on his Nikon. We almost didn't go to see him because the line was wound way far down the hall. Sean said we should go see if there are any seats left and there was. At the end, he played 3 songs. One was the theme from Big Bang (as shot), one was one of his favs that I'd like to find and the other was Pinch Me...one of my favs!
very special. Sounds like you really had a great time. Yes Lightroom has come down. At one point Photoshop did too; just before Adobe came out with the new one. Have fun.
