Tonight is Skyfire!!!!!! Skyfire is a huge fireworks night in Canberra orchestrated to music. It is possibly one of the funnest things to do in Canberra. And while many Canberrans carry on that it is lame I think it is really neat. I am meeting up with the Mummy Mafia and some of their kids so it is sure to be a great night. My Rory loves fireworks! I remember the first time he saw them. He was probably only 7 months old. We went to Darling Harbor (Sydney) for dinner one night and they had them going off. I thought he was going to freak out but he loved them and has ever since! For me Skyfire tonight won’t be about watching the fireworks but more watching Rorys face light up. It is the most magical thing I have ever seen. His big wide eyes and mouth open in amazement. Then after it is done he turns to me smiles the biggest and most beautiful smile and claps his hands. It really is gorgeous to watch.

Hope you had fun! I love fireworks- I used to live in London and one of the best times of year was in November around Guy Faulks night- there were fantastic fireworks displays!
