As I was walking through a wooded area this afternoon the sun was spotlighting this thorn bush which was in the shade. It was almost as though it was calling out for me to photograph it.
This is an excellent black and white! One my old photog prof would praise in front of the whole class! Great texture and pure blacks in your shadows and pure whites in your highlights! No a "flat" shot at all! I see so many muddy "flat" only shades of gray shots on here. I guess some folks like that, but my professor criticized those shots in class and made bad examples of them. I only had to do that once. LOL!
