I went back out to the lake today and spotted 7 white and three grey herons at the same time. With the water being so low it must be easy fishing for them. One of these days I'd like to buy an extender to bring them in a little more. I cropped this to look like more of a zoom.
@marlboromaam - Thank you Maggie!! I was trying to work my way closer to the birds wading in the lake when I spotted this one flying towards me. I was hoping it would fly closer . I need to practice my scanning photography it's not a sharp as I would have liked. I vignetted it to block out some of the distracting trees.
