I apologize for not taking time to view everybody's photos since Saturday. We are on vacation (holiday) and my time on the computer is limited. Thank you all for all the wonderful comments you have made on the photos I have uploaded. I greatly appreciate them all! I promise when I get back home and on my computer I will try and catch up. I believe this is a Gulf Fritillary. We stopped at a restaurant that had a butterfly bush outside and there were many of this kind of butterfly enjoying the flowers.

@stephw - Thank you very much Stephanie!! I'm not sure what kind of bush this was. We have a pink butterfly bush at home, but it doesn't seem to attract that many butterflies. The bush here had very small orange and yellow blossoms.
@lynnb - Thank you so much Lynn for the kind comment. We are very much enjoying our time away. We are on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and many people deserted the place after Labor Day. So, it's almost like we have the whole place to ourselves. I hope you have a great well deserved vacation too!
