Going to be a wild Christmas with you Skip!!
December 22nd, 2012
@ruthmouch - Oh Ruth I am hoping that the family, me in particular, can keep out the the wildness of what the world is making Christmas into and focus on that first Christmas that changed so many lives.
December 22nd, 2012
@skipt07 Same here.....it's all too easy to get lost in the noise and hulabaloo.......sometimes I feel it's easier to focus here as there's less hype, and for more than half of the people it's just a day off with no meaning which sort of brings it home and makes you pause and think of all the whys. Enjoy and all blessings for the season.

Very cool

Cool shot. I've yet to try this...seems that it might require more coordination than I possess! :)
December 24th, 2012
@cmuir1963 - Thank you Cindy! I used my 18-55mm lens and set my camera for shutter priority and a shutter speed of 1/4 second. I focused and framed the shot, pressed the shutter button and zoomed the lens. It took me two or three times to get this one. I hand held this but you can mount your camera on a tripod too.

Looks wonderful framed! There are many zoomed trees here lately, and yours is a beautiful addition.
December 26th, 2012
@cmuir1963 - I am sorry Cindy, but I realized I wrongly wrote 1/4 second for the time. It was 4 seconds.

@sassik - You are very kind Sassik! I really appreciate your comments!
December 26th, 2012
Funny I thought I was following you, as I've been visiting your project so often - now I follow you and hope you will continue past 100%
December 26th, 2012
@sassik - I thought you were following me too. But if not, I am grateful that you are!
Right now I don't know what to think. As Christmas approached I almost felt overwhelmed trying to keep up and keeping my photography interesting. But thank you very much for saying so!
December 26th, 2012
Skip @skipt07 - thanks for clarifying that! I was playing around with some shots last night and couldn't imaging having time in a 1/4 second shot to turn the lens! 4 seconds makes much more sense! LOL!
December 27th, 2012
That's cool. I actually posted a pic just yesterday that was a zoom shot of my neighbor's house lights.

@msk1p2 - Thank you Sandra!
