I was driving to get gasoline and when I turned on a road there was the moon just rising above the horizon. I hadn't see it until then. With all the traffic I drove to a gas well across from a farm free of traffic and trees. The farm has a rather large pond.
@skipt07 Thanks for the links Skip. I was on my way there..but the explanation of how to figure out how many stops to underexpose helped. I was always just taking stabs at it. ISO speed was a good tip too.
That's fabulous, Skip. We were at our pastor's house last night for bible study. He lives on a lake. The moon was so pretty, I couldn't stop staring and wishing for my camera!

Thank you very much for all you kind comments! Wow your husband must really be a Beatles fan if he knew that one Diane. I never heard of it until I Googled, "Beatles songs". I had thought of many of their bigger hits, but when the moon was full why not take advantage.
