We spent much of the evening at the fair. Started out watching the parade then we moved into the fairgrounds to check how well we did on our submissions. Later we enjoyed some fair food and watched our granddaughter ride the rides. Got to watch the moon rise to create a beautiful evening.

I took a picture of this ride last year. But they moved it to a different location this year. To take this I used the no flash setting which is similar to the Program setting except I like the results better with this. Then there was that big old harvest moon.
@amrita21 - Thank you so much Amrita! One of my favorite movies was a low budget one called "Doc Hollywood", starring Michael J. Fox. He plays a doctor on his way to California to join a prestigious plastic surgeon's practice in Beverly Hills. He wrecks his car in a small town and is stranded there while they work to repair his car as well as do community service at the hospital for the damage he did to a fence. He falls in love with a local girl. While there the town has their annual fair and I love the feeling of small town fairs. This made me think of that movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0101745/
