Stages of a Geranium

We stopped at the jewelers to have them look at my wife's ring and I saw these growing in a flower bed. Not sure what kind of flower it is.

Thank you all so much for your thoughtful comments favs and follow. Tomorrow my granddaughter leaves so we have been spending much of the day with her. We sure are going to miss her. She is a military kid so we haven't had the luxury of seeing her grow up. That is her petting the giraffe two days ago. It will be hard to have to see her go again!
