With all the shale oil drilling going on in my part of the Hundred Acre Wood, it is difficult when you see such a valuable commodity being burned off. Why can't it be piped to a storage facility to be used by consumers rather than seemingly being wasted?
Oh Skip, I have trouble with a sight like that as well! I think I shouldn't get started our I'd have to be drug down off my soap box! I think it's good to post a photo like this to bring it to people's attention...it's something to hearken back to when in conversation about energy...
I have seen this as well and have wondered why. I'll have to presume there is a logical and explainable reason, but unfortunately given "Big Oil" history, not likely.
