Wild Rose by skipt07

Wild Rose

These grow at the back edge of our property. They have small thorns and they do smell like a rose.
Thank you everyone for all your fantastic comments and favs for placing my "Toadstool" on the Popular Page! I greatly appreciate it very much!

This is lovely Skip, did you bring this inside and shoot with a black background or is it outside?

@elaine55 - Thank you Elaine! I did pick it and stuck the stem in some Play Doh to hold it. I put black foam board behind it and used my tripod.

@skipt07 What a good idea to use foam I hadn't thought of that.

@elaine55 - While the foam looks black it isn't a really good black. Cloth would be better. I had to darken it in PhotoShop.

The words, "wild rose' are so romantic! And I recognise this to be one of these beauties often painted just like this, especially on asian type surfaces!
