We took our granddaughter to the local fair again. Since it was Friday we got to stay with no school tomorrow. She was disappointed that two of the rides that she liked last year weren't there this year. But she took a liking to this swing ride. She rode it enough to more than make up for the price of the ride-a-rama. The moon started rising in the sky so I moved around to get it in the background with the ride operator keeping his eye on the kids. I purposely did a long exposure to blur the top part of the ride and the sings.
@danette@seattlite@salza@onewing@gilbertwood@joansmor@thistle@juliedduncan - Thank you for your kind comments! It was a beautiful summer evening. Last year it rained almost the whole week. I had seen the moon when it was lower in the sky but it was in close proximity to that bright spot light for the parking area and then it went behind a cloud. The rider operator saw me taking pictures of our granddaughter and pointed out the moon to me. So, I thought I'd try to get the ride with the moon in the background if or when it reappeared. I had to blend two shots to get the moon in focus and not burned out with the long exposure of the ride.
