I was entertaining my granddaughter while my wife and daughter were doing some cleaning in her new, yet to be moved into, house. This maple tree sits on the edge of her property. The sun was behind me and originally I wanted to photograph these backlighted, but the sun was causing lens flares. So I moved around to the other side which allowed me to darken the background.
