We took our granddaughter to the Erie Zoo. One of the treats was seeing this new born orangutan that was born in February. They named him, Otis. There was a contest to come up with a name and 6,000 entries were made. The list was narrowed to 6 or 8 and the zoo trainers chose Otis from that list. They thought Otis suited his character.
@ludwigsdiana@beryl@rjb71 - I have a few more of the two of them. Two or three in a similar pose and another completely different. This one I liked a little better as it depicts to me what mothers endure when raising a very young child. There are those times in the day when a mother is is worn out and needs a rest but can't because her little one is wide awake!
