Wash Day Amish Style

My wife was kind enough to slow way down so I could capture this. I knew the farm was ahead but didn't know what I might see when we got there. The Amish hang their clothes out to dry no matter what the weather. Sometimes I think they freeze dry. Yes, we have seen clothes hanging out when it was raining. I am not sure how that works.

The laundry will be frozen solid. I remember putting washing on the line in winter when we lived in the UK and jeans and shirts stood up on their own when we brought them indoors.
