Wednesday night my wife and I decided that we wanted to get up early to watch the sunrise over the Atlantic. I happened to wake at 5:45 just as she woke. We quickly got dressed and headed for the beach. As we walked out to the end of the boardwalk the sun was just a small sliver above the horizon. There were a few people sitting on the beach waiting on the sun to make its appearance. As the sun got higher in the sky a group of people walked into my frame. At first I wasn't too happy but then thought they would add dimension and scale. The next thing we noticed were dolphins swimming in close to the beach. We'd see them come to the surface and then disappear. Then we noticed a pair together. We saw them the day before and wondered if it was a mother and young one? But here they were again in perfect position in the frame!
Wow amazing shot. How good of the dolphins to swim past just at the right time. I love it when I go down to the beach and see the dolphins swimming by. fav.
