In past years I have seen these growing along roads in our area. Then in the last couple of years, they have disappeared. We saw these last week when we were returning home from a dinner at a restaurant north of us. My wife was kind enough to drive me around so I could try to capture them. I am guessing that they could be Grass-Leaved Golden Asters.
