The Rolling Hills of Pennsylvania II

Joanne @gardencat said she thought the dark cloud in the original photo was distracting and suggested cropping. I didn't want to crop as it would have removed too much sky. And so I used the clone stamp to do away with it. What do you think?

Makes it a completely different photo. I don't think the dark cloud was distracting. It painted a different story.

Masses of detail here - it would make a hair-pulling jigsaw puzzle I think!

Thanks for going to the trouble and it was, I think, a better choice than cropping, wasn't sure how much time you wanted to devout to the job.
I do like this better. I just found that dark cloud kept pulling my eye off to the side.

What a great way to work that dark spot - I agree that cropping would have removed too much of the sky - I do like this best - the wonderful summer feeling really comes through this landscape.
