Pine Tree Shot #28 - Why It Is Nearly Impossible to Climb A Pine Tree

It was suggested I do a picture like this earlier, but I was unable to until I pruned the tree of its dead branches.

Getting closer to the end of the challenge! Three more days to go.

I think it looks, so much better when viewed on black.

You probably have to be fairly skinny to get through all those branches!

Makes me dizzy, too. You're doing a great job with a difficult challenge.

@houser934 - Thank you very much! It has forced me out of my comfort zone so to speak.

Wow, what an interesting pov. Love it. Fav!

@mittens - I got this thanks to my 70D. It has an articulating view screen that allowed me to hold the camera low and point the camera up while looking through the screen and could see what I was shooting. No lying on the ground required.

@skipt07 That's great Skip. My Canon camera has a screen that flips out and turns so I could probably do something like that, too.

@mittens - Didn't know what kind of camera you have since it doesn't show up in the photo details. I do know that the Canon T3i was the first to have the articulating screen, but they have added it to other models. I saw that they are coming out with a 6D (full frame) in May that has an articulating screen. I love mine as it is great for focus photo stacking.
