A Pair of Male Rose Breasted Grosbeaks

Male Grosbeaks are some of the few birds that seem to tolerate one another. Usually, if you have two males in the same vicinity during mating season, one is chasing the other one away. Unless the secret is to not look at one another when eating? I was excitingly surprised when I saw that I had captured both of them dropping pieces of sunflower seed shells.
Nice balanced shot. Probably to hungry to care what the other is doing.
