Our local college, Westminster, held it's pre-Fourth of July Fireworks. It looked kind of iffy as warnings of the chance of rain and thunderstorms were popping up throughout the day. As it turned out it rained around 4:30 pm and it was a dry the rest of the evening. However, the humidity was high and the smoke from the shells just hung in the air which hid some of the shells from the crowd's sight and made it difficult to get clear photos through the smoke.
