Pennsylvania Township Roads

At this time of the year, when people who live in the city, see my car they must wonder if I have been off-roading. I have not. It's just that rural townships tend to use a mixture of bank run gravel and small amounts of salt. The bank run gravel is cheaper than salt and the roads look like they are dirt roads. Mix in a little water and you have mud and viola your car looks like you were off-roading. It can be embarrassing at times. Oh by the way, this road is paved with asphalt. It was newly resurfaced last year.
Interesting info! My poor car always looks like it needs a bath.

I remember seeing a huge line for the car wash during a recent winter. I had to think about why!
