Raced up to the park close to my home to try and grab a better view of the pink sunset I could see off in the distance...alas, I could not get a nicer view :( It's in those times I wished I lived on a mountainside.

it's beautiful! i love the light in the clouds in the top foreground, and how the colours gradually fade from white to light pink, dark pink and then purply in the deep background :) [and how lovely that your kids came along for the ride... mine would have fought tooth and nail ;p]
