Oh it's been a long day and he is tired. I wonder if he fell out of the nest. If mom and dad know where he is, they will take care of him. Birds are very dedicated parents.
@debrac I wondered that too. Ihaven't seen baby or parents near the tree he was in. I haven't seen the next either. I've noticed cardinals like to build their nests in shrubbery, which we have near this tree. I must admit I'm a little worried about the guy. Discovered a baby turtle today too. Love nature!
