Update 2017 - I'm back! :)
I'm still shooting with a mirrorless micro four thirds camera, at the moment I'm trying out the Olympus EM10 mk ii. Over the last month or so I've tried out Panasonic G85, GX8, Fuji X-T1 and X-T10 and even a Nikon 750D. None of them felt quite right (goldilocks of the camera variety). I loved the IQ of the Fujis, but missed Olympus-type image stabilization - same was true with the GX8. I've been spoiled with great I.S. using Olympus camera and I may just stick with them. I would have bought the EM5 mk ii but I don't like the fully articulating screen, preferring the tilt screen. Loved the iq of the big Nikon but I just couldn't see myself lugging it everywhere with lenses. Olympus mft cameras/lenses are so easy to travel with and just have with you on a daily basis. I'm anxious to see what Panasonic does with the GX9. I may end up getting the EM1 mkii once the price drops in 1-2 years.

I bought a new lens for a trip to France last fall, Panasonic 25mm f1.4 (50mm equiv) which I love. A great low light lens. I was able to get some great shots in Paris at night handheld with that lens.

I'm also on Instagram @sznlash

I love photography and I love hanging out here and looking at what the many creative and talented people here on 365 come up with! I'll begin my 4th year here in January 2015. I shoot with an Olympus E-M 10 and have 17mm, 45mm, 60mm/macro, 75-300mm - all micro-four-thirds lenses.

Project 365 seems like a great way to record the year, plus hopefully improve my photography skills. My spare time is usually spent on a bike, now I'll have a camera with me. I blog at www.loveofbikes.com.
