Home made kiflichki

So fresh, so yummy, so goood!! I baked those today for Easter. Needles to say, half of them were gone in minutes... Oh, well, I can always make some more! :-)
These look delicious! What's inside?

@Weezilou Thank you so much, Louise!!! My granny bakes all the time, but since she is back in Bulgaria I had to learn how to do it myself. The bread machine definitely helps in getting the dough just right :-) I wish you lived closer - I always share my baked goodies with the neighbours! :-)

A huge thank you for the recipe! I chuckle that you say you share your baked goodies with neighbors. I have many more Nova Scotia neighbors who enjoy receiving something from the oven than I do here in CA so I often share. I make brownies for my neighbor, Billy, and even before I read your note above, I'd planned to make your recipe when I arrived up north where I can share them. Like you with your grandmother, it was my father who baked bread every week. I took it up as soon as I married and moved away. When I head to Chicago Wed, I expect to have fresh-baked loaves of bread in my suitcase for my daughter...at her request!
