Today is my mom's birthday!! She is the most wonderful mom in the whole wide world! I'll take a picture of her when I get back home ;-)
Today I also got my work permit in the mail! What more can you ask for! Now, if somebody wants to hire me for a photo session or something, I can say "Yeah, sure!" and the INS won't chase me ;-)
I had a different idea in mind for this shot, but since I didn't get helium ballons, it was too hard to photograph these agaist the sky. The neighbours' kids came to my rescue and held the ballons up high :-) They were great helpers and they got really excited when I told them they could keep the balloons ;-) I walked back home to make dinner and the I heard a knock on the door - the boys came to leave a ballon for Tao... they said I might like to keep one for him... How sweet is that? ;-)
How lovely for those sweet children to not only help you set up your picture, but to come back with such a thoughtful gift for Tao! "See Mom...she's got some terrific neighbours!" "Happy Birthday to you!" (You're going to make sure she gets the messages from all your friends, I hope!) That's really a joyous image you're sending her way! Thanks for sharing with us!

@mrssmith Thank you so much! I am so hoping that I can do something with photography! I love teaching, too, but since English is not my mother tongue, I dodn't know who'll take me to work for them. We'll see how things will work out - I'll just keep my eyes open! ;-)
