This is a throwback shot of Shadow, the previous owner of the tail feather that I posted yesterday. Shadow was a rescue from the illegal bird trade. Upon rescue he was housed at my beloved sanctuary where he lived into his 30s. In my extras album, I posted an old shot of another Bateleur I personally know that shows more of his whole body.
