Black and White

Portrait of an elderly gentleman in the street. I feel gratitude that he let me shoot him. Did two versions of this shot. Which do you like bette?r

ok first it's a great shot. I'd prefer this one as I always feel colour allows the background to get a little messy in street shots as you can't control it. B/W kind of balances it all out.

@rich57 Thanks Richard. It also easier to see his face in this one.

@smapp yeah that's true. I also notice you posted this to your 365 album.

Like this more then the color one (deleted??) and the one of his back.

@viranod Yes I deleted the color one. So far women tend to prefer the one from behind.

This is a fab B/W capture and I agree with Richard (above) re the background 'messiness'. B/W does seem to make it less obvious. Great shot!!

Ohhhh, love this one too! Normally I prefer shots from behind but I think I'm gonna say I like this one the best. His expression is fantastic and I love that there's a sign in the background saying "ahead". Definitely a favourite!

I love both shots, but I really like the 'from behind' one best!
