Saw this special fruit at the farmers market and was wondering what they were? The Farmer told me that they were green plums. They are unripe fruits the size of cherries. These are hard and sour and are much appreciated in the Mideast as the first fruits of spring and are eaten fresh, sometimes with a pinch of salt.
@janets Thank you..I love sour stuff. I was thinking I should have bought some but not sure of the taste when I saw them at the market. Should have sampled it. :)
