There is something magical for me in the smell of wet soil. When the first drops of rain fall on the soil and wet the ground, the smell of the wet earth makes me so happy and refreshed. I am sure it has to do with the fact that i grew up in a place where it gets very hot, so when it is the first rain after a dry summer, even Mother Earth smells a sigh of relief and freshness. I adore that smell and hopefully this picture will convey my feeling when i took this picture..the magic in the waterdrops and the freshness in the earth soaking the water in...
