Orchids..Love them. somehow one of the most beautiful flowers i have seen ever. Simple yet complex flowers.
Tried this shot for the csc-5 challenge. Then realized that the f number might be too low. 1/60, f20, ISO 400, Manual focus, no flash,SOOC . None the less, somehow this picture looks magical to me, like the flowers are growing through thin air, so decided to upload it. Critisism is absolutely welcome..

I like that you are always trying these settings and photo set ups. I don't know enough about the lighting and settings to give you pointers for improvement, but I really think this shot is fine.

Absolutely love the light through the white petals and I guess f20 gives you that sharp DOF!

@webfoot thank you for you rfeedback. i really appreciate it. @pawar_ramesh thank you very much rameshji. @wenbow thank you very much. it was natural evening sunlight coming through a glass door. @yogee246 thank you so much. @bmnorthernlight that is very i ended using f20. i used f20 for this shot originally http://365project.org/smithak/365/2012-03-04 and then ended up using the same setting for the close up of the flowers. I liked the dark background that was created because of this setting. @juliakan thank you very much.

I absolutely love this shot, it looks elegant. Looks like a little water splash at the bottom right corner.

Gorgeous!

( I think I would clone out the little white to of the stick, it takes the eye away from the flower :)
