My marriage was arranged..meaning my parents picked my husband for me. The first time i really saw my husband was literally on the day of engagement. I was not sure then how this all would work,Living with someone that i donot know anything about, but it was my husband's faith in us, our relationship and the system of marriage that made me fall in love with him. We will be married for 15 years this december. And i tell myself everyday that "Daddy does know best for his daughter" and i could not have picked a better person myself to spend my life with. Thank you GOD and my Family for bringing my hubby in to my life.
I know for many of us it seems impossible that such an arrangement still takes place. But it does and surprisingly it can work out very well. I so enjoyed how you wrote about your marriage and the joy you have with your husband! Although some of us here would think it crazy, some parents actually do a great job in finding the right person for their children! May God continue to bless you and your husband!!
that is a nice story.....here in India mostly parents choose and the relationship goes for a long......I married on 1st March 1974.....and passed about 38 years....happly....Your story is very nice.....and shot is beautiful.....go to facebook and see our photo on pawar_ramesh
I often thought about what it would be like to have an arranged marriage..I just can't imagine..I hope that many of the arranged ones have such a happy ending as yours. your picture with the hearts display looks as if forbidden two people are stealing a quick kiss if you know what I mean..I wish you already a Happy Anniversary for 15th one in coming December.
A wonderful act of faith & love in your relationship both with your father & your husband....I congratulate you all on the success & your wonderful lasting marriage.
