Never had one of these, but did an advanced driving course. Then was treated to a trip around the back roads of stafford in a yellow one of these with a police advanced driving instructor. A classic from last century ( doesn't that make it sound old)

Love this car Tony! My first car was a Triumph Dolomite. I seem to remember someone saying that it could turn on a sixpence (whatever that means!)

@archielogical @linnypinny @agedrunner @ribbet9 @tallone Thank you for your stories, comments and Fav's. I bought an estate version of a Triumph but never drove it. It just layed in my garden doing nothing.

Lovely shots.

My first boss had a bright yellow one of these back in 1979. A lively car, but very unreliable, constantly in the local dealership having valves replaced!

I like the Triumph Dolomite, although again it wasn't that successful, neat capture.

Super capture. Going to Beaulieu tomorrow, so hope to get some shots. Fav.

I do remember it. Our CE had one and virtually blew it up, on his journeys to and from the office!

I had a white Dolomite in the late 70's Tony but not a sprint. Great shot and I don't remember seeing one in this black colour scheme.;

I would sell my soul and my first born for a Dolly! I only know of one in British Columbia, and rumors of one in Seattle.
