A Family Of Egyptian Geese by snoopybooboo

A Family Of Egyptian Geese

Shocked? What no car? I went to Tooting Bec Common yesterday as I haven't been for a long time and to my surprise I came across the 2 regular adult Egyptian Geese but with 5 youngsters who seemed to have survived the clutches of the nasty swan that attacks anything young. There are a few more photos to show from there but the old cars will be still be put up but back dated to February 2013 with some others if you've missed any.
I do like the cars, but these geese are great- I have never seen this variety before. By the way, in the US geese are often called 'honkers', so there's the connection to cars :)

I used to think finding one was special, but they soon took over. They show some great colors when mating.

I like these types of photos, families etc. At the risk of being facetious, the Geese can 'HONK" just like a car horn!!

I miss your bird photos, and very jealous we have had no young on any of the geese or the swans this year. Lovely photo.
