Lovely sunny day, so decided to go on a nostalgic trip.this lovely old farm house is where we lived from 1972 to about 1978.We have very happy memories ,as I expect 3 of my followers have.
Hah, home sweet home! Looks so familiar but also quite different, most of the photos we have are black and white it's strange to see it in colour! No wind mill either! Bet it felt strange going back there?
lots of memories...it looks very different without the virginia creeper. Definitely looked better with the windpump on the side - looks like a gap there now!...I remember jane climbing up the ladder of the windmill - or pump, I suppose it was really -.and also the ladder of the treehouse Dad made for us with the rungs that were MEANT to be too far apart for a three year old to climb up....
What fun to see your "Home Sweet Home" photo , too! What a lovely place! I can't imagine having to pack up to leave such a pretty idyllic location...I'm glad you have good family memories!
