We set off at crack of dawn to Barrow on Soar to meet up with Helen on the barge. Weather perfect. Had a lovely bbq and walked the towpath with the dogs and here having a well earned rest.
Wish we'd been there, sounds and looks lovely! Bit different to the half term here, we've had none stop exam prep....zzzzzzz just trying to keep Beth from totally freaking out!! Think a few days of floating along the river would be just the answer!
Diana, I love this picture! I am so hesitant about putting pictures of people on here. My family is so strange about it that I just stick pretty much to 'things'. I love seeing loved ones in pictures! Thank you for sharing!
oh yes, it was such a lovely day - I really didn't want to come home today. I used the same title for one of my boating pictures this week too! Wish you could have been there too, Jane, - and definitely sounds like Beth could do with some "chillax' time, as Ed calls it (something he's very good at!)

Re - animals and man cave...was pretty uncomfortable to be having them surrounding me...I wanted to tell them I was sorry they met such a sad end!
