God didn't make the little green apples, and it don't rain in Indianapolis in the summer time........this picture is of the bramley apple tree out side our kitchen window,In the late summer they will be made into apple pie's
And we will help you eat them!!

Apple pie sounds great though they don't look to tasty a the moment. I think this will change very soon.

In response to my "Bug" nickname for my daughter, it's nothing to do with her cuteness, just the one that stuck. It's short for Ladybug, actually. :)

Oh I remember that song! Isn't it just so clever that all that beautiful blossom turns into yummy apples...:-) Thanks for your comment on my bellringing gallery...it was a very old atmospheric church.

Just got your note & question...The billowing flag made me think of the national anthem, "Oh Canada", and it was so fitting after this man told me how this is his favorite place in the world. The scenery across to the shore line (and with boats) is beautiful to photograph, but I've done so many times and stayed sitting in the car for the 5 min crossing. It was a perfect vantage point for unobtrusively snapping his picture!
