we visited a National Trust stately home today, called Croft Castle. I took a lot of photo's of the castle, but this is the one I like best. This picture was taken in the walled garden, I love the riot of flowers by the blue door.

Yes, Lunenburg sits on the ocean, a harbour, actually, and we have an endless number of beaches and lakes throughout the area. What's rare is that the water has become so warm this week. We've had word a hurricane is headed this way, and the Gulf Stream also runs offshore, so the combination has turned the ocean into the likes of a warm bath!
