Flowery Spitefire.

Today we went to Birmingham art gallery,to see the Saxon gold hoard. This floral display was near by, its made by the Birmingham council parks dept.the 70th anniversary of the "Battle of Britain........Sorry too tired to make any comments this evening, will try & catch up tomorrow.

70 years since the Battle of Britain. Hard to Believe. Although it was before my time, it was certainly my generation's war. I hope the valor of those men and women will continue to be celebrated.

This is a cool photo. I ditto FaerieMoon's comment. I don't think I've ever seen a floral display shaped like an airplane -- someone was very talented and worked hard to make this nice display of remembrance.
