Iris ?

A friend gave me this plant a few years ago, I don't know what it is called ?. It always flowers before the other variety's I have in the garden.

It's lovely - we have some 'odd' irises but none are flowering yet. I (based on no evidence) feel that these are more wild type than the usual sort. Beautiful colours in it.
