We went to Hergest woods in Kington today, to see if the the Rhododendrons were flowering as you can see some were in full bloom .This red one was very showy
What a showy display. I love it when the woods provide such a treat. I grew up in a part of New England where Mountain Laurel bloomed in the Spring. I think they are in the same family as rhododendron.
What a fabulous colour, must co-erse the other half into a visit before they are over. Been very busy in the garden of late so could do with a look at someone else's!!
