In South Africa we call this a pantry and our old Victorian homes (built by the British) always used to have one..great shot of yours, Diana :-)

Your pantry looks so lovely and tidy. I was thinking of copying your idea and taking a picture of my pantry but it's too messy - still reeling a bit from all the extra Christmas supplies - I found a big box of dates and a box of after-dinner minutes yesterday that I'd completely forgotten were there . . .
