...even on a cold grey day there is still some colour in the woods. I like the soft pinkish tints of the Silver birch trees against the dark green of the Firs, and the dull shades of gold in the dead bracken btw this is best viewed large if you have time it shows off the colours better

Yes Diana there are some nice colors in this picture. can't wait to go walking in the forest again. last time we tried it was just too cold - with the windshield factor is was minus 19 degree C. and we had to head home again. it also wasn't easy to walk in the deep snow. but at least we got out for a bit.
