Welcome to the Oyster Republic

All this walking, photographing and trespassing made us hungry. Luckily, Apalachicola is the Oyster Republic of the Unites States, so a dozen fresh raw oysters are only a few steps away. We stopped in for lunch at Boss Oyster, home of the finest oysters I've ever eaten. And the decrepit condition of their rusted out tin building just adds to the charm.
