Erosion

This gigantic canyon - 277 miles long, 18 miles wide and 1 mile deep - was formed by erosion. No photograph can properly convey the feeling one gets from standing at the rim of this vast hole in the ground. I've never thought about it or at least I never went far enough to look for an answer as to how many grand canyons are there in the world and was shocked to learn that there are over 400! That is amazing. And the good old USA has 43 of them. Spectacular! Shot Danny! Fav!
