My son Jake expressed an interest in learning fine art photography so I've been giving him photography lessons. He's catching on quickly, and he captured this magnificent sunset on a recent hike to Cloudland Canyon State Park. I did the post processing on this one as we have not started lessons in post yet.
@gooner46 Thanks, Chris. Jake has been taught composition first - we've been working on that for the last six months. We just started learning the exposure triangle last week. After he masters exposure, I will teach him how to post process. For this image, I cropped the original, applied a velvia filter, added a bit of saturation, contrast and sharpness and then finished it with a graduated neutral density filter. Pretty much the same thing I do to all my images.
